What is involved in participating in the Y4GED?

For a student to graduate from MCA’s Yeshiva, a student will study life-impacting books and participate in all 12 courses over a period of 3 years (6 semesters), will participate in a global mission trip to a location of the student’s choosing, and will participate in a study trip to Israel.

What is the cost per semester?

The cost is $350 per semester (does not include books, travel, or mission trip costs).

What does participation look like?

Our classes meet once a week.  The classes are each about an hour in length and we offer 2 classes per semester.

What is the Yeshiva for Globally Engaged Disciples?

Yeshiva is a Hebrew word that literally means “sitting” and is applied to the activity of studying Torah at the feet of master-teachers. MCA’s Yeshiva for Globally Engaged Disciples (Y4GED) is a learning community that encourages, empowers, and equips disciples for global engagement.

What is the goal of Yeshiva?

The goal of the Yeshiva for Globally Engaged Disciples is to mentor and prepare disciples of Christ to become engaged with global missions and to reach their world with the Gospel. Our desire is to encourage participants to go on an independent personal mission trip and a study trip to Israel in addition to attending the weekly Yeshiva classes over a period of 3 years.

Who can be a part of the Yeshiva?

MCA’s Yeshiva is designed for learners of all ages who want to follow Jesus’ Great Commission to “Go into all the world” to serve Him and reach the lost. The Yeshiva will give a global perspective of the gospel, a foundation in Christian thinking and theology, and provide opportunities for students get involved globally on trips to find where God has called them to serve.
